Type of physical interface | QSFP28 |
Number of physical interfaces | 2 ports |
Supported pluggable modules |
QSFP28 QSFP+ SFP28 SFP+ SFP Note: Which of the supported modules are relevant depends on the link speeds
supported by software (see Step 6).
Note: QSFP28 100GBASE-PSM4 can break out to 4 SFP28 25GBASE-LR.
Note: QSFP28 100GBASE-SR4 can break out to 4 SFP28 25GBASE-SR.
Note: QSFP28 100GBASE-CR4 can break out to 4 SFP28 25GBASE-CR.
Note: QSFP+ 40GBASE-PSM4 can break out to 4 SFP+ 10GBASE-LR.
Note: QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 can break out to 4 SFP+ 10GBASE-SR.
Note: QSFP+ 40GBASE-CR4 can break out to 4 SFP+ 10GBASE-CR.
Note: QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 pluggables cannot be used with breakout cables, as they
interface to single-mode fibers where the four 10 Gbit/s lanes are multiplexed
and therefore do not allow mechanical breakout.
Note: SFP28, SFP+ and SFP pluggables can only be used together with a pluggable
module adapter (PMA) enabling SFP28, SFP+ and SFP modules to be plugged into a
QSFP28 port.

Power is measured with capture of a stream with 80% load of 300-byte frames. A sustaining load of 80% with 300-byte frames is representative for maximum real-life scenario. The actual power consumption depends on the FPGA software payload.
The SmartNIC is Class III equipment for supply by SELV circuits only.
