Napatech DPUs running Link-Security™ Software offload TLS encryption and decryption tasks from the host to the DPU, while also providing TCP offload capabilities. This architecture enables web servers on the host to allocate more CPU resources to managing content, optimizing overall performance.
In this document
Use this guide to get you up and running DPUs with Napatech Link-Security™ Software. This document includes descriptions of:
- How to install and detect a DPU in a server.
- How to program an FPGA image.
- How to install and configure Link-Security™ Software.
- How to test and verify Link-Security™ Software.
Note: The installation and configuration procedures are tested
and described on Fedora 38 for illustrative purposes. It is expected that derivatives of
Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based distributions will function similarly. The process should
be adjusted accordingly for other Linux distributions.
