The SmartNIC can be configured to set the DSCP field.
Modifying the DSCP field
DSCP (differentiated services field code point) tagging is used to set the priority of
network traffic. DSCP tagging can be enabled in the SmartNIC using the
RTE_FLOW_ACTION_TYPE_MODIFY_FIELD action type and the
rte_flow_action_modify_field structure. The DSCP field is modified to the
specified value using the following fields in the
rte_flow_action_modify_data structure.
