Hash key data

The hash key data for hash key type 3 is the contents of the 20-bit label fields of all the MPLS label stacks in the frame.

Hash key data word 0 is the contents of the label field of the first MPLS label stack. Hash key data word 1 is the contents of the label field of the second MPLS label stack and so on. Like in the frame decoding process, a maximum of 7 MPLS labels are supported. Hash key data words that are not used are all zeros for hash key type 3.

Validity

Hash key type 3 is valid for frames containing at least one MPLS label stack.
