Detailed Description

The Napatech Software Suite introduce a port virtualization concept. This concept means that users have no knowledge about the adapters in the system, only ports. With the port virtualization also comes:

  • Port Merge - merges ports from one adapter into one stream
  • Adapter Merge - merges ports from multiple adapters into one stream
