pps_basic

The pps_basic tool shows the relative PPS timesync feature.

Syntax

pps_basic [ -h | --help ] [ -l | --local]

Commands

Command	Description
-h, --help	Displays the help
-l, --local	Print output in localtime and not UTC time

Initialization

All initialization for PPS is done using the ntservice.ini file. The configuration is set when starting the service. It is not possible to change PPS settings dynamically.

Functionality

When the pps_basic tool is started, PPS on all cards configured to run PPS will be enabled. If the pps_basic tool is stopped correctly, the PPS functionality will be disabled again, otherwise the PPS synchronization will continue to run.

• Start PPS timesync on all PPS configured cards:
