This describes the supported network interface configurations for NT200A02 SmartNICs operating in 8 × 10 Gbit/s or 4 × 25/10 Gbit/s mode.
Supported configurations
This table shows network interface specifications of the NT200A02 SmartNIC running at 8 × 10 Gbit/s or 4 × 25/10 Gbit/s.
| Port speed | Network interface |
|---|---|
| 8 × 10 Gbit/s | 2 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-PSM4 breakout to 8 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-LR |
| 2 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 breakout to 8 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-SR | |
| 2 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-CR4 breakout to 8 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-CR | |
| 4 × 10 Gbit/s | 1 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-PSM4 breakout to 4 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-LR |
| 1 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 breakout to 4 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-SR | |
| 1 × 40 Gbit/s QSFP+ 40GBASE-CR4 breakout to 4 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ 10GBASE-CR | |
| 4 × 25 Gbit/s | 1 × 100 Gbit/s QSFP28 100GBASE-PSM4 breakout to 4 × 25 Gbit/s SFP28 25GBASE-LR |
| 1 × 100 Gbit/s QSFP28 100GBASE-SR4 breakout to 4 × 25 Gbit/s SFP28 25GBASE-SR | |
| 1 × 100 Gbit/s QSFP28 100GBASE-CR4 breakout to 4 × 25 Gbit/s SFP28 25GBASE-CR |
Note: QSFP28 100GBASE-LR4 pluggable modules cannot be used, as
they interface to a single-mode fiber where the two 25 Gbit/s lanes are multiplexed and
therefore do not allow mechanical breakout.
Note: QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 pluggable modules
cannot be used, as they interface to a single-mode fiber where the four 10 Gbit/s lanes are
multiplexed and therefore do not allow mechanical breakout.
