About this task
The PTP-SMA time synchronization adapter (see DN-0186 on docs.napatech.com) with one straight PTP connector and one straight SMA connector, is used for connection to external Tyco Industrial Mini time synchronization connectors when only the SMA port, that is the Ext1 port, is to be used.
Procedure

Connect the PTP-SMA time synchronization adapter to the external time synchronization
connector on the I/O bracket of the SmartNIC.
