About this task
The PTP-RJ45/SMA time synchronization adapter (see DN-0186 on support.napatech.com) with one straight PTP connector, one straight RJ45 connector and one straight SMA connector, is used for connection to external Tyco Industrial Mini time synchronization connectors when only the RJ45 port is to be used or when both the RJ45 port and the SMA port, that is the Ext1 port, are to be used.
Procedure

Connect the PTP-SMA/RJ45 time synchronization adapter to the external time
synchronization connector on the I/O bracket of the SmartNIC.
