Use this information for installing and detecting the Napatech SmartNIC using the lspci command.

This describes how to detect the Napatech SmartNIC after installing the hardware.

  1. Install a Napatech SmartNIC in a server.
    CAUTION:
    Refer to these documents for information on how to install a Napatech SmartNIC in a server:
  2. Detect the SmartNIC using lspci with the Napatech vendor ID 18f4. 
    lspci -d 18f4:
    An output example:
    03:00.0 Network controller: Napatech A/S NT50B01 Network Adapter
    Note: Install the PCI utility package if it is not installed. For example:
    dnf install pciutils

    The SmartNIC is detected.
