This table describes the test cases concerning QSFP28/CFP4/QSFP+/SFP28/SFP+/SFP functionality.

| Hot-plug module | Remove/insert the module and verify link/traffic. |
| Remove/insert the module and verify DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) functions. | |
| Apply cable stress | Insert/remove a cable and verify link/traffic. |
| Perform long-term data test | Perform 12-hour RX and, when applicable, TX data test. |
| Perform thermal test | During 50 minutes lower temperature to 0 °C (32 °F) and raise it to 50 °C (122 °F) while verifying traffic. |
