Definition

Cold boot is defined as a power cycle event. A server with an NT SmartNIC must be fully powered off and then back on to be in a cold boot state.

Description

When the server with the NT SmartNIC is cold-booted, the support chip boots the FPGA with the image from the primary flash bank.
