About this task

The tools are usually installed in /opt/napatech3/bin/ on Linux, and in C:\Program Files\Napatech3\bin\ on Windows. In this example, the syntax for Linux is used.

Procedure

  1. Open a console.
  2. On the command line, enter /opt/napatech3/bin/monitoring.

    The default mode, Port Statistics, is displayed.

  3. Press X to select time synchronization monitoring.

  4. Press 2 to display PPS Statistics.

  5. When you change the source of the PPS signal connected to the external time synchronization connector on SmartNIC #0, press 0 and then 2 to restart sampling.
