It is possible to configure:
- The size of the buffer segments to be used (using
HostBufferSegmentSizeRx in the ntservice.ini
file – see DN-0449). Possible sizes are 1, 2
and 4 MB, and dynamic size. Note: Dynamic segment size is recommended for packet-based interface, while static segment size (1, 2 or 4 MBytes) is recommended for segment-based interface.Note: Dynamic segment size does not apply to the Intel® PAC with Intel® Arria® 10 GX FPGA.
- The number of RX host buffers to be used (using
in the ntservice.ini
file – see DN-0449). Up to 128 host buffers
can be configured. The default configuration is 4 host buffers. Note: For static segment size (1, 2 or 4 MB), only up to 64 buffers are supported.
- How filters and hash keys are defined (using the Napatech programming language (NTPL) – see DN-0449).
- How flows are mapped to host buffers (using the Napatech programming language (NTPL) – see DN-0449).
