The 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA image for NT80E3-2-PTP is available in the product package.
Handling the 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA image
One of the image banks in the SmartNIC must be upgraded with the 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA image as described in DN-0487. The SmartNIC state must be NEUTRAL before the upgrade. A new FPGA image is always uploaded to the secondary bank. See Upgrade an NT80E3-2-PTP with an 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA Image for an example of how to upgrade an NT80E3-2-PTP with the 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA image.
When the 8 × 10 Gbit/s FPGA image is uploaded, the NT80E3-2-PTP must be switched to the new image as described in DN-0487. The SmartNIC state must be NEUTRAL before the switch.
